Wizard of Oz in the Park
Last weekend we were all feeling pretty cooped up so we headed down to Julia Davis park with a few blankets and a picnic basket.
The Boise School District has been showing about a movie a month in the band shell, completely free. The last movie of the summer was Wizard of Oz. I was actually pretty excited having not seen it on anything bigger than my tv. The event is really neat, there are games and arts and crafts for kids prior to the movie starting, as well as a live band and drawings. The movie started at sundown.
Danielle, Codie and Rylan came with us. The weather was perfect! It was a lot of fun and we cant wait until next year!

Because we cant be there physically
We are there in spirit!!!
We would do anything to be able to be out in the heat, losing our voices,
spending time with our niece and nephews
and Sally,
to cheer you and your team on.

If anyone who reads this is in Denver, please support this group of people who have ALL raised money for breast cancer research, AND are walking 20 miles a day for three days.
Give these AMAZING people some love.
And, shame on you if they have been walking close to you, and you haven't given 10 minutes of your day to show boost these guys spirits by cheering at one of the cheer stations. The experience alone is worth it. They deserve the out most respect!!
The Breast Cancer 3 day is a life changing event. Many of these men and women are walking for spouses, mothers, sisters, friends who have fought this awful disease in one way or another.
We love you Adam, Sally, Mark, Kate and Robb!!

Camping... again!
We went camping for what is probably going to be the last time this year... sad.
We had a blast as usual though. We went with Rick and Tony and our other friend, Bob.
We left town thursday, and came home sunday. It never really got super warm, and friday night got down to 23. We were able to go to the fish hatchery, and another hike (woot!!!)
and of course lots of yummy cooking.

The fish hatchery had such high numbers of salmon return last year that they are ready to release 1.5 million babies next spring!! Amazing!!! These guys are just a few of the ones that have come back this year.

Playing at the Park
We took Piper and Ella to the park today to play fetch and just enjoy being somewhere other than the back yard.
The funny thing about this picture is that there is one almost exactly like this one of Ellas momma going down the slide. Such funny pups!

Not much here!!
Not a lot going on here. Just enjoying the new addition to the family.
Danielle is a very good mom. We are all so incredibly proud of her.
Rylan is getting more cute by the day!

Now, if he could just get a job...
We have had a lot of family visit including aunts and uncles and cousins from the area and Oregon. Codies parents are in town until tomorrow. We will be so glad when things slow down!!
